After successfully organizing our ‘How to COIL’ seminars over the past two years, we now want to explore the role of COIL more deeply as a tool for internationalizing study programs. As our first event, we are hosting a 90-minute online panel to discuss how COIL formats can facilitate international experiences in degree programs where students rarely go abroad. Lecturers from the fields of health, medicine, education, and construction will present their projects and share opportunities, challenges, and best practices.
You can look forward to exciting insights from experts from various universities:
Mohamed Okasha (Ninewells Hospital and Dundee Medical School) – COIL from a neurosurgical perspective (COIL between Charité – Universitätsmedizin Berlin and Ninewells Hospital and Dundee Medical School)
Heike Müller (Technische Universität Berlin) – Virtual Exchange in Nutrition and Consumer Education (COIL between TU Berlin and Savannakhet University, Laos)
Jef Geuens (KdG University of Applied Sciences and Arts, Antwerp) – Global Perspective in Nursing (COIL with various international partners)
Peter Wotschke (Berlin School of Economics and Law) and Richard Saward (Sheffield Hallam University) – Model Reconstruction of an urban residential building (COIL between Berlin School of Economics and Law and Sheffield Hallam University)
